New for this week!

Hi Everyone,   Well the lingerie show at CWS was so full, and the added wings which increased the scripts total, just crashed the sim.  But then again, a few sims were crashing hard that day.  So the show was post poned till next Saturday, June 4th.  I won't be in it, however.  I will be away..... RL cousin getting married!!  YAY.   The link to the audience seats will still work, so if you'd like to see the show just copy paste the LM in the previous postings.

Suki with Pale skin and Dark hair

I went to a casting today and the designer was looking for models with pale skin, black hair, and red lipstick.  I had the hardest time finding that look, despite my over sized inventory.  She also wanted a black gown, with a specific look.  I thought about one I had that was a freebee but I didn't that one.  I figured I would try to wear a gown that had cost me a bunch of lindens.  Well I didn't get chosen.  Which happens.  But I like to use things as a learning step for the next time.  So I went home and looked thru my vast inventory and came up with simple but very nice look.  Amazingly I used all freebees, which were gifts at various stores, with the exception of my hair.   I then went upstairs to my home-made runway and studio and took some pictures.  I then went to a seminar, and at the seminar I was contacted in a private IM from someone who was looking for a model with my exact looks.  So now I'm thinking of changing my looks altogether.  Please go to my Pictures page and let me know what you think.

Suki, in Pipin's Fashion show

Pipin Fashion Show

Yesterday was the Pipin fashion show. We had a little trouble getting the fashion show started, but once we did, it was a huge success. Apparently someone sabotaged the sim where the show was originally to held. Imagine that? It makes me wonder what kind of first lives these troublemakers really have, that this is how they act in a totally self created second life. In any case, we rose above, and the show went on! Of course the designs were lovely and each model did a fantastic job on the runway, dispite the lag monster's attempt to prevent that as well! The way this show was arranged from the start is part of the reason it was a huge success dispite the troules it faced. We met for three rehearsals, we were divided into three teams, each with a team leader, we had an excellent coordinator, and clear notecards to follow. One of the bonuses of meeting three times, was the ability to form new friendships, strengthen old ones, and build a cohessive cast. So when it was show time, and some models were lagging worse then others, we could all help each other, and pull off a magnificant show. Not one model tried to be the diva or the "savor" of the show. We were a team, and in the end it showed!! Someone said, "we should have a photographer here" and I asked a new friend who was so excited about being at the fashion show to be the photographer, which made her even more enthusiastic about being there, that she snapped off 25 pics!! I invited her backstage after the show was over to meet the other models and the designer herself, which just made our "photographer" extremely grateful to have been included.
